Vote in Person
In-person voting will be held at the Garden City Village Hall located at St Paul's Field House, 295 Stewart Avenue, Garden City, on March 15, 2022, between noon and 9 PM.
Vote By Absentee Ballot
Voting by absentee ballot is a two-step process.
Step 1 - You may request an absentee ballot by completing and submitting an Absentee Ballot Application that must be postmarked by March 8th. You can mail it to the address on page 2 or drop it off at Village Hall. After March 8th and through March 14th, you or your agent can deliver an application in person at Village Hall and you will be handed an absentee ballot. You can download an application by clicking the box below or you can email/call Karen Altman, Village Clerk and she will mail you one (kaltman@gardencityny.net or 516-465-4051).
If you are requesting an absentee ballot due to risks associated with COVID-19, check box “temporary illness or physical disability” on Section 1 of the form (pending legal update).
Step 2 - An absentee ballot will be mailed to you if your application is received prior to March 8th (or will be handed to you or your agent if you submit an application in-person after March 8th as noted above). Your completed absentee ballot must be received at Village Hall by the close of the polls on March 15th. You can mail it using the provided envelope or drop it off at Village Hall.
