On behalf of the Eastern Property Owners’ Association (EPOA) we wish to thank Board of Education Trustee Michael Cassaro for his service to our community.   Trustee Cassaro served a distinguished three year term since his election in 2018 and was recently re-elected in 2021 for an additional three year term.   At this evening’s Board of Education meeting, Mr. Cassaro’s resignation was accepted. 

Accordingly, the EPOA seeks a candidate to serve as Board of Education Trustee for the remaining two years of Mr. Cassaro’s vacated term.  In keeping with the Community Agreement, this position is open to all residents who reside in the East. All interested persons are encouraged to submit resumes or letters of intention to gceastnominations@gmail.com by March 18, 2022.  The EPOA will hold a Town Hall for all residents to meet the potential candidates on March 23, 2022 and a East Resident Elector Vote & Primary on March 30, 2022 to select a candidate.   The general election will be on May 17, 2022.  The EPOA policies and procedures may be viewed on our website under the "About Us" tab at: www.gcepoa.org.
