The Garden City Property Owners’ Associations are thrilled to invite you and your neighbors to kick off our nation’s 250th anniversary celebrations with a special, rescheduled event: “America 250 – From Boston to Long Island.”
History comes to life on Tuesday, March 10th, for an interactive evening designed to educate and entertain residents.
Event Highlights
Musical Prelude: Enjoy songs of the Revolutionary era performed by students of our award-winning GC Marching Band.
The Women of the Tea Party: Experience a lively skit by GC resident Leslie Dimmling, offering a unique perspective on what the wives of Boston thought during that historic turning point.
Spies Among Us: Journey to Long Island to discover the secrets of the legendary Culper Spy Ring.
Featured Guest: We are honored to host local historian Margo Arceri, an Executive Producer and Revolutionary War expert, who will reveal the true story behind the spies who helped secure American independence.
