National Grid County Seat Drive & Jericho Tpke. Construction December 17, 2021

National Grid Update

Over the last week, our construction team continued work on County Seat Drive and Jericho Turnpike. The outreach team will continue to keep residents and businesses informed during work and give notice of upcoming activities, maintaining social distancing and eliminating any close contact.

Please note that Friday, December 17 will be the last day of work for 2021 with our crews returning on Tuesday, January 4. The outreach team will still be available during that time. And from all of us at National Grid, Happy Holidays!

*Over the next week, neighbors can expect to see the following activities during overnight work hours:

  • Gas main installation, backfilling and temporary restoration on County Seat Drive south of South Drive.
  • Backfilling and temporary restoration in the Jericho Turnpike-Roslyn Road intersection.

Traffic Management Updates:

  • There will be changes in the traffic pattern in the Roslyn Road-Jericho Turnpike intersection and on County Seat Drive during overnight working hours.
  • Our crews will have flaggers present to redirect traffic as necessary.

As always, feel free to reach out by emailing us at NWNassau@NationalGridGasProjectsNY.com, or by calling our project outreach team at (516) 882-4864. You can also use the Contact Us page of our website to submit any questions, comments, or concerns.
