GC POAs Partner With Long Island Cares for Community Christmas Food Drive

Volunteers will be on site collecting non-perishable food items and pantry essentials. All donations gathered during the event will be delivered to the Mary Brennan Inn in Hempstead, a well-known community resource that serves individuals and families struggling with food insecurity. The festive-themed drive—highlighted with colorful holiday décor and images of staple grocery items—encourages residents to contribute canned goods, juice, milk, coffee, snacks, and other shelf-stable items. Organizers hope that the convenience of the 7th Street drop-off location and the spirit of the season will inspire strong participation.
