EPOA to Host Town Hall for Potential East School Board Candidates on March 23rd @ 8pm
As previously announced, the East POA has been seeking a candidate from the East to serve the remaining two years of Mr. Cassaro's vacated term. Two East residents, Mr. Niten Jaiswal (375 Stewart Avenue) and Mr. Joe Sileo (28 Kenwood Road) have submitted their resumes to run for Board Education Trustee through the EPOA.
The EPOA will hold a Town Hall for all residents to meet Mr. Jaiswal and Mr. Sileo and ask them questions on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 8pm in the Senior Center. All residents are welcome to attend. The interested candidates will outline why they are seeking the position and answer questions from residents. The meeting will also be available via Zoom. Another informal Meet & Greet will be held in early April. More details to follow. The EPOA will hold an East Resident Elector Vote & Primary the evening of April 5th concurrently with its regularly scheduled April meeting.
The East encourages all residents to meet the potential Board of Education Trustee candidates and ask them questions prior to the general election on May 17, 2022.
