John Pittoni
John and his wife Leah have been residents of Garden City and the East for almost 50 years. Leah and John have 3 children all of whom went to the Garden City public schools. John and Leah have 6 grandchildren. John graduated from Holy Cross College (‘64) and Fordham University Law School (’67). John has worked for several law firms on Long Island and has been the Village attorney for the Village of East Rockaway for 28 years. Some of the firms he worked for represented 5 other villages and 1 school district. John has been practicing law for more than 54 years having been involved in cases that have made national and international headlines. He has been active in the Nassau County Bar Association for more than 50 years, recently having been awarded a medal for 50 years of service. He has been a member of the EPOA for over 46 years serving on various boards for countless years. He was the youngest president of any property owners' association as well as serving the longest term. John also was president of the EPOA twice and served on all the East nominating committees and was chairman of the Joint Conference Committee of the officers of the 4 property owners' associations.
